You will find two submission forms at the bottom of this page. Please ensure you submit your book using the correct form. Both submission forms will enter your book into the 2027 CANREADS Awards.

Form 1: Awards Submission

If you prefer not to receive a public-facing review, you may enter the CANREADS Awards on their own.

Your book is evaluated privately by our panel of judges
No published review is produced
Additional categories will be an extra fee

This is ideal for authors seeking awards consideration only, with no published review.

Form 2: Editorial Review

A 350+ word* professional editorial review written by an experienced genre expert or industry professional.

Completing this form gives you access to discounted entry into the 2027 CANREADS Awards, where your book is privately reviewed by our judging panel.

All CANREADS reviews are editorially independent and written by genre and industry experts. Funding never influences awards outcomes, and awards entry is optional.

*Children's books and poetry books may have slightly reduced word count.

This is ideal for authors seeking both a professional review and awards consideration, or just a review.

Submitting Multiple Books:

If you plan to submit multiple books, you must fill out a separate order form for each book.

Collecting Your Manuscript:

After you submit your book, you will receive a confirmation email within an hour that includes next steps on completing your order and collecting your manuscript. Don't forget to check your Spam or Promotion inboxes, as the emails will occasionally land there. If you don't receive this email, please reach out to us via our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If we don't receive assets from you within one week, a CANREADS representative will follow up directly.

Electronic (eBook or PDF)
Send a digital file that can be shared with our review team.

Electronic + mailed print copy
Provide both a digital file and a mailed print copy to ensure full access in all review scenarios.

Amazon direct shipping (+$30) + electronic copy
We will coordinate ordering your book via Amazon for reviewer access where appropriate. An electronic copy is still required to ensure timely distribution.

Physical copy placement is not guaranteed and will be determined based on reviewer needs, format preferences, and distribution logistics.

2027 Deadlines:

Deadline for submissions is November 27, 2026.

Winners will be notified on February 27 2027.

The live awards ceremony will be hosted in Toronto in May 2027.
