You will find two submission forms at the bottom of this page. Please ensure you submit your book using the correct form.
If you prefer not to receive a public-facing review, you may enter the CANREADS Awards on their own.
This is ideal for authors seeking awards consideration only, with no published review.
A 350+ word professional critical review written by an experienced industry reviewer who specializes in your genre. Reviews are reader-facing, honest, and editorially sound, with thoughtful constructive feedback balanced alongside effective promotional language you can pull from for press, cover copy, and marketing materials.
Submitting this form includes automatic entry into the 2027 CANREADS Awards, in which your book is evaluated privately by our panel of judges.
If you plan to submit multiple books, you must fill out a separate order form for each book.
After you submit your book, you will receive a confirmation email within an hour that includes next steps on completing your order and collecting your manuscript. Don't forget to check your Spam or Promotion inboxes, as the emails will occasionally land there. If you don't receive this email, please reach out to us via our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If we don't receive assets from you within one week, a CANREADS representative will follow up directly.

You’ll send a physical print copy by mail. Shipping address will be provided by our team after you submit your book.

Provide both a digital file and a mailed print copy to ensure full access in all review scenarios.
Amazon direct shipping (+$30)
We’ll order your book directly from Amazon and ship it to the appropriate review contact on your behalf. We may require an electronic copy as well.
Deadline for submissions is November 27, 2026.
Winners will be notified in February 2027.
The live awards ceremony will be hosted in Toronto in May 2027.
Our team is spending the next two months completing assessments for 2026 submissions and preparing for the awards announcement in February.
If you would like to include a critical review with your 2027 submission, you may pre-order one in advance below. The review delivery timeline will begin on March 1. Depending on the review tier selected, timelines will be calculated from the March 1 start date.
